“I do understand curiosity. So I need to trust you that, if you do decide to look at my files – which is understandable – you will kill yourself straight after.”
The Doctor has run away from Earth, but he's soon brought back when he finds himself meeting young art teacher Sasha Ramachandran - in a dream. How did they both get there, and what does the Destiny Institute have to do with it? “You think I’m no longer a danger to you because I’m dead. You’re wrong. I’m a greater danger than ever." When the Doctor finds himself back in Robin Moon's life, he doesn't receive the welcome he was expecting. But there are other things on his mind - someone has given an order, and it will be obeyed. It's time for two old enemies to meet again. The Doctor is beginning to think he's finally found Autumn Rivers again - but what is making him so sure? And surely that's all just a bit too coincidental...? "Never mind buildings… falling out of one world, into another. There’s no saying what that will do to you." Trapped together in a cell with no apparent means of escape, the Doctor and Robin are forced to do the one thing they haven't done in far, far too long: talk. As secrets begin to surface, the enemy's plan becomes clearer. Will a sacrifice have to be made? “I can tell you what happened to her. But you won’t like it.” The Doctor's about to learn what really happened to Autumn Rivers. And because of it, someone is going to die. London's burning. London's burning. “I should have saved you! I’m sorry… I let you down, and I should have saved you…” The invasion is over. All that remains is a broken society, and within it, a broken heart. It would take a miracle to set things right - but then again, that's how it all began... |
After the dramatic conclusion of the third series, the Doctor's friends found themselves abandoned on Earth and left to fend for themselves. Now, the Doctor finally comes back into the world he has left. Not everything has gone to plan for Robin or Tommy, and they both continue to pursue the truth of what really happened to Autumn Rivers. But not even the Doctor is sure... The third series is written and produced by Janine Rivers. |
